Lately, spring is looking a little different for us.
Behind the scenes at Lark & Legacy, weβve been moving locations and spring cleaning both home and business at the same time. There have been boxes everywhere, piles to sort through, things to keep, things to donate, and a lot of rethinking what still fits this season and what does not.
And honestly, it has been good for us.
Not just because things are getting cleaner or more organized, but because it has reminded us how powerful it can be to pause and reset. Sometimes a fresh start is not about doing something dramatic. Sometimes it is simply about clearing out what feels heavy, simplifying what no longer works, and making space for what feels better.
That is what inspired this spring refresh.
Not as a perfect checklist to finish all at once, but as a simple guide for the areas of life that often need a little attention this time of year.

Want to print the full reset?
We created a The Spring Refresh Edit 2026 Guide with the complete checklist for every area of life, from home and routines to mindset, wellness, work, and more.
Β
Style
Spring is a good time to make getting dressed feel easier again.
β Create a simple spring uniform with a few easy outfit formulas
β Set aside pieces that no longer feel like you
β Create a small section for pieces that reflect how you want to show up this season
β Reset your everyday bag with only the essentials you actually use
β Choose one detail for spring that makes getting ready feel more intentional
Home
A few small changes at home can shift the whole mood of a season.
β Refresh one space that you see and use every day
β Create one area that feels both beautiful and functional
β Reset the first thing you see in the morning and the last thing you see at night
β Remove anything that makes your space feel cluttered, heavy, or unfinished
β Add one spring detail like flowers, a candle, or a lighter home scent
Digital
Digital clutter counts too.
β Update your wallpaper, pinned note, or bookmarks for the season ahead
β Create one place for screenshots, links, and reminders that are floating around
β Unfollow accounts that leave you feeling overwhelmed or stuck in comparison
β Clean up your camera roll so what you want to keep is easier to find
β Refresh your inbox, phone, or feed around the energy you want more of this season
Planner, Routine & Schedule
Sometimes the reset we need most is in our everyday systems.
β Let go of planning pages or routines that feel more stressful than supportive
β Make a not-this-spring list for what you are no longer carrying into this season
β Rebuild your week around a few simple anchors
β Choose one area of life to make easier on purpose
β Add a page in your planner for what is blooming right now
Wellness
A spring reset does not have to mean doing more.
β Create a short list of things that reliably help you feel better
β Add one habit that makes daily life feel lighter or more enjoyable
β Let go of goals that feel performative rather than supportive
β Create a small reset basket with the things you reach for when life feels off
β Notice what restores your energy and what quietly drains it
Mindset
Sometimes the biggest reset is internal.
β Write a release list of what you are ready to let go of
β Write a return-to list of what makes you feel most like yourself
β Use journaling prompts to get clear on what this season is asking of you
β Choose a spring word and a spring feeling
β Create a simple theme for the season ahead
Weβve also been coming back to our Self Discovery Series lately, and the journaling prompts have been such a grounding way to clear mental clutter, process change, and reconnect with what matters most in a new season.
Academic / School Reset
For anyone in a school season, this is a good time to reset before everything starts stacking up.
β Refresh your study setup so it feels easier to focus
β Make a plan for upcoming exams, projects, and deadlines
β Clean out your backpack, notes, and loose paper piles
β Choose one change that would make school feel more manageable this season
Work / Business Reset
A few small changes behind the scenes can make work feel much lighter.
β Look at your workflow and notice what feels smooth and what feels too heavy
β Reset one backend area you have been avoiding
β Make a short move-forward list with the few things that would create real momentum
β Revisit what you are building and ask whether your systems support where you are headed
A fresh start does not have to be dramatic
That may be the biggest reminder of this season.
Sometimes a reset looks like cleaning one space, changing one routine, letting go of one expectation, or finally making one part of life feel easier. It all counts.
And if spring has been nudging you toward a fresh start too, let this be your reminder that you do not have to do everything at once. Just start where it feels most needed.
